Young Again Poem by Anita Wisniewska

Young Again

(lady in Barnet hospital waiting room 2010)

Oh I wish I could be young again

Wish I could be young

Wish that life was fun again

Wish that life was fun

I wish I could be strong again

Wish I could be strong

I wish that life were long again

Wish that life were long

First you see me in my chair

Now you've noticed that I'm there

Then I say I'm ninety-four

And now

Your'e looking at the door

Oh I wish I could be young again

Wish I could be young.
