Young And Dumb Poem by Raymond Rivera

Young And Dumb

It's very seldom
that I let anyone
get behind
these eys of mine.

You had the key
all along
with your kind words
and adorable
little swagger.

We spent hours talking
undressing ourselves
from our flesh
and becoming
two souls
with nothing
in common.

Who knew?

I had enough,
I'm changing the locks
and I'll be back
to claim my prize
in due time
when I
rebuild myself.
