Young But Old Fashion Poem by Kameron Wilson

Young But Old Fashion

Rating: 5.0

I'm an ol' fashion guy,
Looking for my ol' fashion gal.
I swear she's from the sky,
But I'll have to go through hell;
Cuz' her father has a man in mind,
With the name of perfection.
A bar set of that kind,
I'll never pass inspection.

So I'll tell him how I feel.
That, she is the place to be,
And her beauty is so surreal.
A truth that takes giants, to a knee.

I will never put her through hell,
Cuz' she's as sweet as the day is long,
she'll be my ol' fashion gal.
hell, she's why I wrote this song
She's my angel from the sky,
And I'm just an ol' fashion guy.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm young(22) , new to writing, and I have zero confidence what so ever. I decided to start writing around February of 2013, because of my college professor Tim Mabe. He could tell I was having a hard time with my life, so he tells me that writing about it would be a great way to get it out there in the open with out actually doing any harm. So I did and after a wile I started asking him to read them... he told me that it seamed like I had a passion for writing. which I did as long as it wasn't assigned to me. This 'poem' if you wanna call it that is how I feel... well all of the 'poems' I write are about how or what I'm feeling. this one is something I would like to say to my future wife's father(which I do not have a future wife(single)) . but maybe one day I will get my chance.
