Young Girl Poem by Ashley Kolakowski

Young Girl

Rating: 3.0

Just a young girl,
No more than 16 years old,
Her parents left her alone again
She likes when they leave
Her step father cant beat her then
She pulls out her baggy of a white powder,
Finds her pipe,
Sits in front of her vanity,
Looks at herself in the mirror, and wanders what happened.
She is now pale and complete bones.
She numbs her thoughts, as she lights her crack up..
Smokes all she has.
She is floating out of her body.
So high...
Mind a blurr.
She stands up and looks out her window,
and as she moves, she trips...
And falls straight out of her third story window and crashes to the cement.
