Young Lovers In Passion Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Young Lovers In Passion

Once, young lovers with passions ablaze
Seeing beauty everywhere, walking in sunshine
So alive, bold and true, overwhelmed with love
Thinking ourselves as one, forever soulmates.
Making love naked repeatedly on summer days
Lying on a blanket in secret beside a river
Kissing, embracing, bodies joined for orgasm,
Shaded by foliage from spreading oak tree.
Majestic lovers, proud, supreme, full of joy
With you Queen of my heart, beautiful, fragrant.
Oh, but such happiness held in your arms
Feeling caressing hands, such memories.
My soul soars with eagles in your presence
Now, both enfeebled by old age, I love you even more.
