Younger Son Is Playing Flute Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Younger Son Is Playing Flute

Rating: 5.0

Taking little rest from his business work,
Younger son is now at home in affection,
Practicing wisdom and music refreshes mind,
Traditionally he is playing flute at home now.

Very, very sweet tune is coming and pleasing,
He has already learnt the art of playing this,
Flute carries wisdom and values he feels,
Along with he is talking about flute of wisdom.

Wisdom is the nice flute of God we practice,
Repeatedly tune of flute is coming from mount,
Amount of happiness is measureless to many,
God's valuable wisdom is eternal flute of tune.

He is playing flute learning from God's teaching,
Each note carefully we are hearing and noting too,
We all shall hear sweetness of wisdom daily in love,
We all should play the flute gifted by God to us.

Like Edward, I too like the 'Younger son is now at home in affection, ' and I do love the soothing, calm, sound of the flute. As the flute is often depicted being played by Gods, I read that in early culture the flute was associated with the spirit world and in some literature, symbolizes gods own voice. it also held a very important role in magic. I often think of Pan when I hear the flute. How lovely to hear your son play the flute and he must be so proud of your lovely poem.

I find the flute to be the most powerful of instruments when meditating. Thoroughly enjoyed the poem, Kumarmani!

EXTRA: I do hope the 5 stars comes here through. At this moment I do not see any difference. But I have done already twice. I am still thinking: In 2017 I could not leave responses in a poem automatically. It sounds so stupid, but that was a big problem for me. Your eldest son has taught me the most important thing: How to know when the response has been received / is printed in that poem I gave a comment. That was marvelous to know! More than that, I was not able. I am flashing back.
