Your Face Poem by jan fuentez

Your Face

Your face suddenly haunts my person
And I don't know the reason
Memories have been laid down behind
But it seemed to affect my mind
And I remember a story of long time ago
Such was a childhood tale, so true
Between a boy and a girl
Who were separated by time and space
Not even a single word was spoken
Just to close the meaning of partnership
Perhaps it needs to end for good
And maybe no more nightmares to be told
I can now rest after this piece unfold
