It's getting dark outside and I'm alone,
I hate this place that I call home,
I wish I could run far away,
I hope there's a place you and me can stay.

Your arms used to welcome me but we never stopped,
If you weren't gone I wouldn't hate everything, like the pills you popped,
But you are and I know that there is no going back,
I think that maybe I need a brake, I need some slack.

When the rain falls now my tears are falling too,
I need your comfort, I just need you,
I'll cry and cry cuz I know your long dead,
Yet still I know you hold a place in my heart and head.
