Your Heart Is My Home Poem by Tina Rizk

Your Heart Is My Home

My love,

Today I woke up, opened my eyes
Ran to the window and looked at the sky
I saw heart shaped clouds waving to me: Hi
I assumed that's because your love turned my heart to paradise

Then I took a walk in the woods
It makes me feel so good
Wearing red, I felt like Little Red Riding Hood
We definitely meet more foxes at adulthood
I passed by an apple tree, grabbed some fruits,
Engraved our names on the tronc, then continued my route

Back home, I sat to write to you my love poems
It's a daily ritual I cherish most, a custom
I turn on my classical music to brainstorm
With 'My love' I start my poem, then I write
'Your tender heart is my home',
Which may seem a cliché, but that's what
My heart to yours never ceases to hum! !
And now, sweet love, you're reading the bottom
Of my poem
