Your Poem Poem by Wakefield Mahon

Your Poem

Picture
How can I describe to you
These feelings I know to be true

How can I miss what I've never known?
I miss your kisses when I am alone.
I love the way you hold me tight,
You look like an angel when you sleep at night

There something different here
A kind of joy, a kind of fear.
I thought my sadness would not end
But you came along my heart to mend

I miss you between our every meeting
I love to hear your pleasant greeting
I'm sorry if this sounds absurd
But I'm really at a loss for words.

You wanted a poem. This one is for you
You deserve better, but it's all I can do.
You are like the stars,
You make the scary night beautiful
You are like chocolate
I just can't get enough
You heart is so tender and gentle and sweet
My love I can't wait 'til the day we meet
