Your Presence Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Your Presence

Why is my Anand-Ashrama
Looking deserted
And the rows of flowers
Weeping,
What has,
What has happened to them,
My God, my God,
Why are,
Are they so sad?

My God, when together with
And when separated from,
Sometimes memories take me over
And I fail to shake them off
With the tears welling in the eyes
And none but I,
I myself wiping the tears
In hiding
From the world
As and when get I remembered of my own
Whom lost I over the years.

Your love,
Your love calling me,
Calling me, dear
Whisper I to myself
With the tear drops falling,
Falling from the eyes
And I,
I struggling to wipe,
Wipe them out
With my hands,
This is life,
Life
From where,
Where to go,
Where to go,
Say you?

(In the memory of my youngest brother)
