Your Smile Poem by Michael Loring

Your Smile

I love your smile,
So warm and bright
Letting others know
You’re filled with joy and delight

It lights up your features like a flashlight
That scares away the midnight creatures

Your lips curving such a way
Oh I can’t think of anything
All the live long day
You’re so beautiful
Including your smile
Really just suitable
For you

I always thought I’d frown
So cold and gloomy
Feeling so down

But you stopped that notion
With a twitch of your lip
And a small little motion

The quarks of your lips
I watch them closely
As they take little sips

When you smile at me
I feel so warm
It comes in a swarm

I love all your smiles
Your grin
Your smirk
Your sneer
All so awesome

Keep smiling baby!
