Your Time Is Up Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Your Time Is Up

Rating: 2.8

They're coming now.
You sleep last night,
the one with no repeat?
Or did you fret and cry
as deep inside your mind
the wheels were turning
to find a way, to flee.
And your amygdala,
it never throws the towel
until the battle is truly lost.
There is no mercy
and nightmares do come true,
nor does it help, my boy
that many pray for you.
No man should have the right
to take another's life
farewell, young man
there will be life
perhaps
with human kindness.

we all have it on our mind the horror of it no matter how just we feel the young man is loved by someone beside GOD AJS
