Your Words Cut The Silence Poem by hamish milantano

Your Words Cut The Silence

Your words cut the silence
Like the roar of the sun
Crashing down on me for fun
Left me in dispare
Lost and alone
I just wanted to go home
Becomming apart
Of the darkness surrounding me
It used to be you that’d set me free
I’d watch the sun melt
Into the horizon
Leaving me with something to dwell upon
The sky leaves trials of swirls and waves
It leaves me confused and scared
It feels like my heart doesn’t matter like you never cared
Scared and alone like a little child
I cry and mourn for your return
But when the new day reaches dawn
I always seem to tumble and fall
I hate the silence you leave me with
Breatheless and exhausted
I wish you would show me
that i once meant something to you
like you when you’d smile at me
and your eyes lit up the room
i would wish it would wish it to be soon
im begining to wish i never have felt anything at all
this is the night i fall.....................
