Zar Poem by Avinash kashyap

Fading into darkness,
Possessed by the goddess of love,
You gave me stars to ignite;
I lit them bright for you
With flames of passion,
With flames of obsession;
Fumes that made a
Thousand heavens on earth,
Light that outshone
The suns of the universe;
Eyes painted walls with stains,
Building a castle of tears,
Heart feasted flavors of pain,
Facing a legion of fears;
All for the only holy spirit that
Walked the surface of the earth,
Endowed with the powers that
Could break an innocent heart
Into a million pieces;
Beginning of an era of ignorance,
Truths that echoed in the dark
Opened a window that made me
Wave goodbye to the lullabies;
Thanks for the memories
That will forever remain
In my heart and mind
As tales to be remembered
Where you almost loved me,
Where I almost fell out of love.
