Zeus Poem by Belle Violet

If Zeus
were a person,
he'd look just like you.
He'd have tussed-up,
silver hair
and his eyes,
sapphire blue..
He'd be worn
from the weather,
and life, in general,
He'd be sexy,
and handsome
and strong.
He'd have great stories
to tell,
with his own spin
on them,
and he'd
also laugh
remembering
them.
Because he'd be
so very much
like you.
He'd be stressed, but,
so casual,
charming,
yet, methodical
He'd be all gallows humor,
wit with
a hot temper,
and I'd probably light
to his spark.
and I'm sure
I could make
him smolder
in the dark.
I can imagine
how that felt -
because he'd be
so very much
like you,
and that's
why you're Zeus.
