I didn't care about the doe or the fawn
Or about a wife or a child until I had one,
I hunted and I killed without any thought or care
And as for children, I was never there.

Don't know if his name is Luke or Paul
Or maybe it's even Kevin,
He was stripped off his guise of a human being
Now they just call him number forty seven.

We warned them, but our voices were ignored
Even after we begged and pleaded and implored,
We showed them documented facts and proof
They just laughed as though it was a joke or a spoof.

His hands were in chains
While mine were not,
Innocence and love is his claims
Rebellion and defiance he had sought.

I am single!
Because no-one takes relationships seriously anymore,
They take it as a game to cheat and mingle
And then to go to another person's door.

You are weathered, tattered and torn
Just like my uniform,
Through rain, snow and hail we have been
Always for the win,

You pissed me off
Then all you did was cough,
You thought you did nothing wrong
But, I'm still strong.

I loved you more than you will ever know
But, your feelings you never did show,
Whenever I could I proudly held your hand
I did it as a desire, and never as a demand.

I walked upon the stage
Holding onto a single page,
Knowing not what to say
Or how I was going to portray.

I was called a snowflake
Because the words of a racist I would not take,
One thing that racists and bigots do not know
