Supposed to be the great healer,
The being with great feelings...
Lingers on - - and on, and

They walk over me,
Never Knowing that I
Lived - -
And died...

When I was very, very young,
I moved where I willed,
Free as air to be - -
Here, or there,

The sun was shining so brightly,
shooting beams and arrows of light,
like a spotlight,
pinning me down
...

If you are ever in Mississippi,
Look me up!

I'll be down at the gazebo,

We were a chandelier of poets,
shedding light from sea to shining sea,
but the light was dimmed
because you weren't there.

I never cease to be surprised,
As I look over my shoulder,
Just how clear has become
My view - of you!

He awakened in darkness,
Darkness so deep,
And so blank and black
That he knew his soul was lost.

The flood came,
And the 'Gators
Were IN the streets!
