Siegfried OheneSidza Poems

To the entrance of an unknown and strange world, (Sin)
Tried to survive with the strength of self and might, (lust of the flesh)
Only to see rejection and abduction of pain flowing from sight, (fallen from grace)
Not with the eyes of men do you see humanity; (a heart undefined)
...

May be all that I see in this life is a mere story,
What if I decided to famish it with a great worry?
Even to this, only my joy in you could bring the glory.
...

A piece of you, a piece of me keeps it stronger.
Little shoulders of huge makes it better,
If there be any bond, only love can make it last longer.
...

They cradle in fear and made the people live in tear.

Speeches were in sorrow as thoughts were in marrow.
...

Joy entered whiles pain knocked,
Peace ruled as shame bowed,
Rejoicing in the heart was the
rest found in the bosom where he lived,
...

If I lay not my trust in thee
And my soul is contaminated with contempt,
God, purge my conscience

When situations all seem uphill,
...

Goshen! ! ! The land they called; Slaves! ! ! The people they named,
Insolence was the trademark as strangers in a hinter land.
Placed in their arms the rage of sorrow instead of a muscle of wheat
To pull down and to build up in a wasteland was their born identity
...

Never could it be to the rise of the morning star,

Neither was it the glittering of the evening light.
...

Oh! Ancient of days, Oh! ! ! World of poetry,
'I don't intensely behold the present, but
I behold the future in the present'.
My thoughts are the gems of the flowers
...

It was a blissful moment full of fantasies,
It was a seductive painting in a gallery,
It was a joyous season filled with a warm embrace.
They turn out to be treachery in the finest coat,
...

Protruding through the hearts of pain,
Supernatural beings bridging the joys of gain.

Deceived by the looks of appearance,
...

I think I will never see,
A poem so warm as the sea.

A sea so angry as a beast,
...

The valley of my conscience,
proves me guilty in my pride.
A pain in my pride was hurt to my emotions.
Fountains of love in my blood,
...

A pain in his joy,
A wisp of hope rose in his heart
And the thoughts of a loved one
Disappears like smoke in the thick clouds.
...

Glory to the One who gave me life,
Adoration to the God of all creations.
Blessed I am to fulfill all my duties,
As a servant of the Most High above.
...

It’s the one that made me sunk in the sea,
I thoroughly would make the world see
how the rains keep drying up my tears.
As I sit under the scorn of my fears,
...

A step in time; the promises of life's eternal joy,
A breathe that catches the mild breezes of the wind.
Plantations that grows up in the savanna zones,
Dreams detained in the shadows of one's misery.
...

The brightness of the dove singing songs of melody,
The greatness of the people jumping for their delight
A time of harvest, a season of pleasure,
That is the significance of a new beginning.
...

Upon the crossroads in His righteous garden,
Fruits of His manifestation fallen from the grape tree.
Honour from the wondrous places with
The tingling stars kindling up high within the trees.
...

The miraculous healing of a universal light,
Soundness of body in time is the greatest height;
The future is naturally endowed with hopeful sight.

Save The Lost (Poetic Prayer)

To the entrance of an unknown and strange world, (Sin)
Tried to survive with the strength of self and might, (lust of the flesh)
Only to see rejection and abduction of pain flowing from sight, (fallen from grace)
Not with the eyes of men do you see humanity; (a heart undefined)
But with an eye of compassion you laid to them from divinity. (A thought so divine)
Tear drops from the tunnels of your love you called. (Called to grace)
With our itching ears bending to the echoes of the fallen, (compassion to the lost and fallen)
Couldn’t hear the call of our Father in eternity, though in time (heart of stone)
You bridged the barrier to the distance with love and called us by faith. (Saved by grace)
You have named all and own all. (Adoption to son-ship)
Through Your tender love and care laid with mercy, (eternal forgiveness)
Bring forth unto your bosom the lost marking them in your name. (Eternal inheritance)
Though transgressed; no more affliction; Lord Save the Lost! ! !
