All Apologies Poem by Jessica Goudreault

All Apologies

A simple apology
Is sometimes all that people need,
It can save them
From being so unhappy,
Consumed by hate
Or others greed,

Wether she kissed you
Or he was with her that night,
An apology will seek through
And make things right,

It doesn't matter what you find,
Wether they turned their back on you
Or you stabbed them from behind,
Who lied to who
Or what they did or did not do,

The only thing that is necessary
Are those two little words,
I'm sorry.
