Anyway. Poem by siddharth singh.

Anyway.

Rating: 5.0

How long will you
keep me longing like this.
I shall ignite a fire in you
and sway you away
to your bliss.

Whenever you think of me
in your solitude,
lost in my shadow you
shall be in a
never before magnitude.

Run how far from me you may,
you'll fall in love with me anyway.

When our hearts will entwine,
the stars and the moon will shine.
To my arms you will run, and for me
your sweet surrender shall be done.

I will embrace you
with such passion
it will be for all the lovers,
a conspicuous lesson.

Such unparallaled love
shall we dispel,
sheer passion
is what our names will spell.

In the depths of misery
if thou shall recede.
In transcending to triumph
with me thou shall succeed.

Aspire for any when you will,
to bring them for you,
i shall be ready to kill.

Away from me
if your heart shall fly,
only in my desolation
shall i cry.

Never ever will your
heart be chained.
You shall be free
if our story is strained.

That's why i say,
Run how far from me you may,
you'll fall in love with me anyway.

(Dedicated to my wife.)

This poem has been brilliantly crafted and is successful for a variety of reasons. The sincerity of this poem lies in the speakers ability to command, for example: 'I shall ignite a fire in you' whilst still being gentle which embraces the idea of romantic love. A brilliant read from a talented poet.
