At Christmas Poem by Laura Anne

At Christmas

At Christmas,
I find myself thinking of the hundreds of small
But timeless moments we've shared
Moments frozen like snapshots
In my memory and I smile
There are those funny times
When we relive a shared joke
Or exchange a knowing glance across the room…
The tender, simple moments
Of us walking hand in hand.
And those familiar ways
We curl into each other at night
Whispering "I love you"
While drifting off to sleep side by side
And now, here we are hundreds of moments later…
At Christmas time wishing you were here by my side,
To share another moment..
With all my heart, I am sending my love to you
This Christmas day and everyday.
