Beneath My Feet Poem by Malory Joyce

Beneath My Feet

My heart has been broken to where the pieces now form dust upon ground;
dirt beneath my feet and dirtiness between my toes, I walk barefoot through the damage.
Let my sorrow fall as rain softening the grain rubbing underneath my feet
and let my weakness dry as sun to transfer from mud to dirt once again.
Let the pieces of my heart make reformation as life makes recreation. For I move on.
