Blood Red Tears Poem by Kaylin Garrett

Blood Red Tears

Rating: 4.3

As I lay awake the pain in side burns me to my core, silent tears streak my cheeks, my pillow is stand with my blood red tears...as I lay awake I ask myself why does it feel like I'm misunderstood? I try to scream but no one hears me, I take a breath trying to calm my fears, my heart beats fast as I star to panic, Blood Red Tears flow not from my eyes but from my heart. I scream again but all I hear is the sound of my pain deep within, I feel as if my soul is traped between life and death. where am I? who am I, do I really exist? I soon understand that these are questions that I can not answer. As I walk the halls of life and death, Blood Red Tears flow from my heart, they fall onto the earth, the sky grows dark above me I look up as the sky lights up with a flash, rain falls I look down at the puddles and I see myself drowning in my pain, drowing in my Blood Red Tears...
