Breadline Poem by Dorsey Baker

Breadline

They threw you out
put you on the street
aint you tired
of being passed around
like a loaf of bread
they destroyed
your confidence
took away your dignity
made you sell
your self respect
they defiled
your body
messed up
your head
aint you tired of
being passed around
like a loaf of bread
you don't trust nobody
because all the people
you trusted
they let you down aint you tired of being
passed around
like a loaf of bread
