Cherry Poem by Jay AndersonTaylor

Cherry

The flavor fills my mouth and burst onto my

taste buds like a fresh lemon just squeezed to make

some fresh juice. It's almost heart shaped appearance

turns me on, so crimson red is its color too see.

One bite of it can embellish your tongue with

its sweet yet somehow bitter taste to the tongue. Truly its essence

will last in your mind, and lingers on your mouth for a

mighty long time. Some call it the fruit of Gods and Kings;

we simply call it a cherry... it can even be made into a pie. Why does

this small piece of fruit stay on my mind?
