The pampas grass is blowing in the wind,
it is swaying to and fro,
letting go of its children to the wind.
Hoping they can take root
in some safe place.
We watch our children
from infants to adulthood.
We shed a few tears
when they leave
to start new lives of their own.
Every one of us
has to spread our wings
at some given time.
Our leaving maybe tearful,
but our parent’s blessings always follow us.
And so the circle of life
goes on and on, without end.
Our children grow and leave,
and then they watch their own
do the same as them.
And we get to watch the grandbabies after the kids are gone, well, at least from one of two kids. And you lucky guy have a great grand baby too.... I have a Circle of Life, about birth, but it's not on here now.....I love this poem David, . love, marci.xo

'Circle of life' sets you thinking. Yes each life to its own ways to spread wings, a well-writ piece indeed, and congrats for POD.
On and on! ! ! To and fro; Circle of life. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
so the circle of life goes on and on, without end. Our children grow and leave, and then they watch their own do the same as them....//// it's a beautiful expression; a life, circling life bounds with such circle where we face same terms of life differently but the pathos are same.....//// superb 10+
