Crimes Of Passion Poem by shane lewicki

Crimes Of Passion

A portrait of darkness unscathed by the mind,
A tortured victims unwillingness to cry,
pain splattered amongst the mirrored halls,
flakes of blood a flurry of snow.
Eyes full of doubt, the mind screams to live,
laughter overpowering the devils smile,
A glimmer of fate, the text of shimmering light,
cold steel bound by flesh.
Trickeling life empties the night, darkened memories, lightning strikes..
Motionless boundries an unholy stain,
Passion fears cold hearted steel.
Misery complains, an art of the mind,
a victim for pleasure a game misconceived,
cries of stupidity heard by the few,
kneeling in angst on a blood stained pew.
Forgivness sold by the stench of the cloth,
muttering words chained by leather,
deterring the heat, blasphemous wisdom,
soon to repeat, unholy truths......
