Feeling Sick Poem by fool of forgiveness

It’s that groggy feeling of snot clogging up your brain
Spilling out your nose
Running out your ears
And coming out of your eyes as tears.
You’re faint and sick
Fragile and yuck
Fighting to stay awake
Feeling really stuck
Feeling faint and tired
Wanting to go to bed
Fighting the eyelids
To stay alert
Trying to look past the curtain of drugs
to act like normal
with feeling; not being numb
the drugs kick in
and you feel really tired
fighting it's worse
and you're really exhausted
This is the feeling of being sick.
