My love,

I am a sunflower
I twist, turn and track the warmth
Of your love, a fiery ball in my sky
That shines and shines, day and night
To my heart's delight

I am a sea
Everything floats on my surface
But with the slightest wind
With the slightest high wave
Everything and everyone
Are driven away, to far away shores

But you my love
You stay come what may
For you live at my core
You touch my soul

Sometimes I feel
A foreign passer-by
Who owns nothing
Who relates to no one
Just a passer-by

But with you
My heart and soul feel different

For within you
They found the safety of a homeland
And the love of a sweet home
They found their soul tribe
And someone who reads their silence
Someone with matching vibes

They found all that in you and more
For you're my sweet tender soulmate
My precious gift from fate
