To Your Love I Surrender (Sonnet #71) Poem by Tina Rizk

To Your Love I Surrender (Sonnet #71)

When life tests us, strength lies in resilience
When trust is broken, none can be undone
When days are lived with faith, work and patience,
In the long run, we'll proudly say: We won!

We sway between conquer and surrender,
We overcome and conquer fear, a vice,
But accept fate if beyond our power
O, let's live before we die, for time flies!

By reconnecting with you, dear soulmate
I awakened my wisdom, consciousness
Never before did I feel so glad, great
Except on the shore of your tenderness.

When my heart and soul you sweetly conquered
My heart, embracing your love, surrendered
