I'M Over You. Poem by Felicity Phillips

I'M Over You.

Not a day goes by that your face doesn't appear in my head.
Not even a minute goes by without wondering how you are.
I loved you, I still do.

The way you crushed me, made me so down.
I didn't ever want to wake up again.
Whenever I heard your name, I'd almost cry.
I'm glad I realized I'm over you.

Just like Jesse says,
'I'm leaving, never coming back again.'
I miss you, but I don't ever wanna go back.
Your smile used to but my favourite thing in the world,
Now it's just a memory.

The way you crushed me, made me so down.
I didn't ever want to wake up again.
Whenever I heard your name, I'd almost cry.
I'm glad I realized I'm over you.

With a little help from my friends,
I've learned to smile again,
I've learned you can't break me,
No, I won't let you.
I'm too good for you, too pretty for you, you ugly boy.
And then that one day, you're gonna tell me that you miss me.
... I'm gonna tell you thats too damn bad.

The way you crushed me, made me so down.
I didn't ever want to wake up again.
Whenever I heard your name, I'd almost cry.
I'm glad I realized I'm over you.

I hate you,
I hate you,
I can't believe I'll admit it,
But I really do.
