Immortal Sin Poem by Kay Davies

Immortal Sin

Rating: 3.5

The time in line of loyalty,
Soon to be broken.
The knowledge of right and wrong,
Soon to be devoured by the taste of sweet sin on his gental lips.
Wordlessly communicating.
Bodies moving in unison to keep up with the growingly demanding emotions.
The hunger for perfection again left unsatisfied.
What was suppose to make her feel whole has left her feeling more hallow that before.
Her Shakey hand unlocks the door to find the victim of her sin.
A Victim who was in the dark.
His calm words, as his eyes found hers.
His beautiful eyes; Beautiful, pure, and happy, with no knowledge of his impending suffering.
Not knowledge of her bitter sin.
As her honest words of betrail pour out, His eyes soon see truth.
The grow cold and hard,
Each heart beat strained,
Every breath painful.
Her eyes search his for forgiveness,
Her tears flow from her eyes as she sees the pain of her sin patiently tearing his soul.
Rejection.
Calmly he wipes his eyes.
His heart no longer beating.
The need for air no longer necessary.
The tears from his face no longer fall.
Finally.
Immortal.
