Never Again Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

I stare at you
through my half
dead eyes, filled
with pain. But
you don't notice.
You never do. What
do you care?
I hide behind my mask well.
No one sees.
No one hears.
No one feels.
No one cares about that
girl sitting in
a shroud of darkness
and suffering,
silently being torn
apart from the inside
by unseen means.
But these means
are right in front of you.
They are dealt out
daily, in monstorous amounts.
Just when you start to realize this,
I give up and walk away
with my shattered heart
that will never belong to you
again.
