One-Man Band

Even when you cover the sky with clouds,
Why does it deem so immeasurable,
You seem so small,
When you stand up tall,
Tall on the mountain high,
For we’ve all been ready,
Ready to life,
Life our lives in our faces,
For we all have tried,
Tried to feel what we couldn’t see,
On top of the ocean’s sparkler,
We all walk forward,
And wave at the pasting stories,
Why are we never in the sky,
To turn and fly,
Away from are problems,
The problems we thought we could face,
In the marching band we sing,
Sing the song of remedy,
For we walk past,
Past the homeless in what was once forgotten vast,
And we all see the tears that have fell,
Fell down the hearts,
Of what they all wished,
Wished that they could live better,
And march with us in our song,
So why did you,
Stray from what we had to give,
For now I’m a one-man band.
