Piece Of Time Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Piece Of Time

Like the two of us
everything is going,
feelings came across
inside touches showing.
All is not forever
it just comes and goes,
being here together
how long nobody knows.

It's just a piece of time
in its somewhere play,
starting out and prime
it all goes away.
We have memories
but most get's lost,
years like garden trees,
roads of time crossed.

Life is time giving
hours to remember,
in its point we are living
spring through September.
Then winter comes along
with its dim falling,
howling a night song
from the dark calling.

We all go missing
into deeps of heart,
or where we're wishing
to have another start.
Dancing to the days
that we want to show,
as the instant plays
its on flickering glow.
