Poison Girl Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Poison Girl

Rating: 5.0

There is depth in your eyes
The depth of a ravine into which
The eagle plunges and dies

There is honey in your lips
The honey a bee rushes to
And gets stuck when it sips

Your curl sways fine
The curl which catches the wasp
That takes it to be a vine

There is song in your words
That enamors weak souls
And draw to you many a bards

There is this love in you
That draws men to death
And let live to suffer just a few

I can’t take your witty snarl
Your heart does not recognize love
You should be named a poison girl
