Something To Believe In
She closed her heart like an old screen door
She didn't want to use it anymore
Like a blue sky fading to grey
She slowly lost the colors in her face
Like burglars in the middle of the night
They tried to break her down and get inside
They took her strength and left her weakness
She just wanted something to believe in
