Starlight Poem by Megan Lacey

Starlight

Rating: 4.0

The sky is now its darkest blue
I’ve found all my dreams in you
Take my hand; you needn’t fear the night

Let me chase nightmares away
At your side I wish to stay
All the way to the breaking of the day.

Night holds no more fears for me
By the stars I’ve learned to see
Beauty in the darkest hours before the dawn.

You’re still not sure what to believe?
My heart will break should you leave
You’re here with me- I do not need the sun to rise!

For night holds no more fears for me
By the stars we’ve learned to see
Beauty in the darkest hours before the dawn.
