Sunday Morning Poem by Laura McDougall

Sunday Morning

Rating: 4.2

Laying comfortably in bed,
Looking out the window,
The bright blue sky soothes the mind,
Not a cloud can you find.

A cheery bird sits on a branch,
Thats swaying to and fro,
In her mouth a piece of bread,
Her babies waiting to be fed

A dog barking in the street,
Screams of an unlucky postman,
He drives off in his van of red
As i lay comfortably in bed
