Thirty-Three Poem by Robert Uy

Thirty-Three

How I act, how I think
Are years younger than me.
The constants of Life I have embraced,
And feared all spontaneity.
Defiant against maturity,
I have lived for the moment;
Though it scares me, at thirty-three,
I still don’t know where I am headed.
