There’s no better way to start the day out
Than to watch the amazing array
Of colors that come up with the sun
Creating in a warm and magnificent display

The trees appear as shadows
With the vibrant sky behind
How nice if we could see it every day
I know I wouldn’t mind

Sometimes a lake is the watery backdrop
Of a colorful morning rise
Oh yes, I could watch forever
It’s nature’s purest surprise

You never know which look you’ll see
For there’s a different scene each morn
A different easel up in the sky
As each new day is born

So whenever you have the chance
Get up early with the birds
I know you’ll see a sunrise
That is just too beautiful for words!
