He found it to be great sport to annoy
Passersby…nipping and barking…doing a jig
Now go back home…be a good boy

It is a pleasure to know people
Who speak with heartfelt words

Conditions have to be just right
For the creation of a visual delight
Not too cold with the wind blowing…
But when snow packs well for throwing

In the days of long ago walked a small child
Whose discretion was mature rather than wild
While other children pointed, laughed and teased
She did what was right rather than what pleased

In the middle of the week at noon
I picked my grandson up after school
Returning home, the sun shone brightly
Leafless trees shivered as gusts blew cool

The zealous devil never sleeps…
Into your thoughts he will creep
Showing you how to convincingly deceive
With cunning and undetectable artistry

I am glad that things are going much better
