Worthiness Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Worthiness

Alone in a dark place
No one around to recognize
Surrounded by space
No one seems to empathize

Wondering if the situation
Is severe enough to paralyze
Or is this a time for a notation
To internally personalize

Breathe and place the emphasis
On countless possibilities
Aware of peaceful gentleness...
Thankful for being me

To be happy it does not take
The spotlight of recognition
Stamping approval … to be awake
Receive the seed of worth by omission
