.......Confines crashed.......
......As life thrust.........
........With feeble might.......

In neatly lined up pots in a row
Flaming red balsams in clusters grow
A visual treat to adoring eyes
A haunt frequented by the bees
...

There was a boy who loved custard
For a change, he ate it with mustard
Though it tasted awful
And the boy felt doleful
...

A patient to a doctor said so sore
"I can't bear this pain any more
Kill me…I want to die
My lips are going dry"
...

The old man twitched his brow,
Blasting music, jarring his ears,
Endurance threatened, he rose from his armchair,
Dragging weary limbs, he staggered away.

ON WORDS

Words have a circuitous route
As foetus to the womb, they cling to the heart
...

The distant mountains gleam and glitter
With the sun rising in all his glory
The world awakes to songs and sounds
And takes up all its chores so cheery
...

The zealous poet lay awake all night
When fancy tickled, he sat up to write
Scripted verse after verse
On topics diverse
...

He got down from the train with his baggage
Walked out through a dirty soiled passage
His attention was captured
By a bold lettered Placard;
...

As our eyes met, sparks of love emitted
Emotions swelled, passions surged
Like a well full to the brim
A tear drop glistened in your eyes
