Escape from the world that doesn't understand,
Escape from the people who pull you down like sinking sand.

Here comes another lonely night,
feeling like nothings ever right.
Always blaming it on the town,
she's on the verge of breaking down.

Do you think about me like i think about you?
Do you sometimes cry yourself to sleep, like i do?
Do you sometimes just lay in your bed,
with every memory of 'us' running through your head?

He's standing on the ledge all alone,
Waiting for someone to come and take him home.
He wants to know if anyones there,
needs to know if someone cares.

Thinking about everything we've been through.
Forgetting all that is right,
