It Hurts Me More Than It Hurts You

The feeling of your touch still lingers on my skin.
When you speak to me, your voice gives me chills from within.
Your smile still holds a place in my mind.
Cause a smile so true is hard to find.
I remember it like it was yesterday.
The day we met, how you shyly said 'Hey.'
I liked you because you were no factor,
And that showed that you were all real, nothing like an actor.
Even when I did you wrong, you stayed beside me.
Now I sit here hurt cause I chose to leave.
'It was me, not you.' is all I can explain.
Cause to let go of a love so good is causing me such pain.
To even speak straight or think right,
I wish I could've felt you the same way cause now i can barely sleep at night.
Now I lay with such burden on my heart.
I should've let you know how I felt from the start.
