The world seems to be filled with trends.
Trends may last till one's life ends.
It's all about what's new and what's hot,
but the significance behind those things is what many have forgot.
Nobody appreciates the simple things anymore.
Not thinking that within themselves they can make much more.
Everyone wants to be like somebody.
Always wanting to stand up and be seen.
That's why this generation is my key,
to standing out as nobody else but me.
I make the difference in my life.
By having fun but doing right.
It doesn't take a smart person to realize,
that gang banging, drug dealing, and fighting ain't gone help you survive.
Cause in this cold world, unlike the lives, the killing never dies.
So just look deep inside yourself
and you'll find that, out there is nobody else,
quite like you.
Being different can mean being weird, crazy, ballistic, or even a fool.
But it's also what's going to get you through.
