Object Of Love Poem by Cynthia Mok

Object Of Love

Sight full of love,
Even thorns stand out with every touch.
Petals full of beautiful fragrance,
Fragrances bringing thoughts of remembrance.
Grown with much love and care,
As if a human's life was really there.
When he had to leave her with only this of himself,
Is the day she experienced feelings she never before felt.
Didn't know if it was pain or anger,
But she had the feeling that still loving him may be danger.
Every time they reunite, him staying was never in her belief
Until he got down onto that one very knee.
His words spoke, 'I want to be more than that rose.'
Meaning; to never die in her heart, only for always close.
