Trying not to drag your feet
But on the inside, you're dying
Feeling overcome with defeat.

Kissed with soft, swirling clouds
Up high, birds fly
There, by the white shrouds.

I walk through a meadow
Which is covered with bloom
Flowers of every kind
Try to overcome my gloom.

Why do clouds suddenly appear?
Is it just for them to reign over me?
Because when the sun sits in the sky, so clear,
Shade may be what we most need.

Like I used to be able to do
So I need you to talk
The words coming only from you.

Saying what people want to hear
Saying what keeps them ever so dear;
Telling a lie is not unjust
For complete honesty is not a must.

A decoration of trees, flowing

Outlining a lake which glistened

I wish that things were the same
That everything was back to normal.
